[DQ-2 Satellite Successfully Launched with Multiple Advanced Payloads for High-Precision Global Atmospheric Monitoring] Today (April 17), the High-Precision Greenhouse Gas Comprehensive Observation Satellite (DQ-2) was successfully launched from the Jiuquan Satellite Launch Center. This satellite possesses remote sensing capabilities to acquire high spectral resolution and high temporal resolution data on atmospheric environmental elements such as greenhouse gases, pollutants, and aerosols using a combination of active and passive methods. After entering orbit, the DQ-2 satellite will form a collaborative observation network with the DQ-1 satellite, enabling high-precision comprehensive monitoring of global atmospheric composition. Its data will serve operational applications in fields such as ecological environment, natural resources, agriculture and rural areas, forestry and grassland, and meteorology. (CCTV)
