[India Approves Export of 8,606 Tons of Raw Sugar to the US, Exception During Ban Period] (1) The Indian government has approved the export of 8,606 tons of raw sugar to the United States. (2) The Directorate General of Foreign Trade (DGFT) of India has notified that a quota of 8,606 metric tons of raw cane sugar for export to the United States from October 1, 2025 to September 30, 2026 has been confirmed under the Tariff Quota (TRQ) scheme. (3) Under normal circumstances, the ban on Indian raw sugar exports will continue until September 30, 2026.
