[Korea's KOSPI daily turnover surpasses 40 trillion won for the first time this month, with Samsung and SK Hynix contributing over 40%] (1) Data from the Korea Exchange (KRX) on Monday showed that, driven by a record market rally, the daily turnover of the benchmark KOSPI index reached 48.05 trillion won (approximately US$26.4 billion) in the first 22 days of this month, surpassing 40 trillion won for the first time and setting a new record for the highest monthly average, far exceeding the previous record of 32.23 trillion won in February. (2) During this period, the combined daily turnover of Samsung Electronics and SK Hynix was 20.57 trillion won.
