He quoted Putin as saying that Russia will continue to develop weapons with higher strike power that can penetrate all existing and future anti-missile systems. (2) Medvedev pointed out that Russia has the necessary scientific research and production base, and related work is underway. Much data is kept secret, but the results are obvious. These three new strategic weapons can ensure Russia's absolute security for decades to come. (3) The development of the "Poseidon" nuclear-powered unmanned underwater vehicle and the "Burevestnik" nuclear-powered cruise missile has entered the final stage.
