[Musk: Starlink V3 satellite downlink capacity increased to 1024Gbps, Starlink will be the Internet in the future] (1) Musk responded on X to a post citing SpaceX documents showing that the downlink capacity of Starlink V3 satellites has increased significantly from 96Gbps per satellite in V2 to 1024Gbps. (2) Musk said that if the growth momentum continues, there will eventually be more than 100,000 V3/V4/V5 satellites providing broadband network and direct mobile phone connection services. (3) He said that Starlink will one day carry most network traffic, at which point Starlink will be the Internet, and everything else will be connected to Starlink.
