According to statistics from the Thai Ministry of Agriculture, as of mid-May this year, durian exports from the eastern region of Thailand alone to China have exceeded 28,000 containers, with a total value exceeding 51 billion baht, equivalent to approximately 10.6 billion yuan. Currently, due to the large-scale market entry of durians, market prices have declined somewhat. This year's durian production has increased by about 30% compared to last year. The head of a durian sorting factory in Chanthaburi Province, Thailand, stated that ideal weather conditions in Thailand this year have resulted in particularly good-tasting durians.
