According to the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs, on May 29th, the "Agricultural Product Wholesale Price 200 Index" was 113.20, a decrease of 0.02 points from yesterday; the "Vegetable Basket" product wholesale price index was 113.25, a decrease of 0.03 points from yesterday. As of 2:00 PM today, the national average wholesale price of pork was 14.86 yuan/kg, a decrease of 0.1% from yesterday; beef was 66.60 yuan/kg, unchanged from yesterday; mutton was 64.05 yuan/kg, a decrease of 0.1% from yesterday; eggs were 9.84 yuan/kg, an increase of 0.7% from yesterday; and dressed chicken was 16.89 yuan/kg, a decrease of 0.9% from yesterday. The average price of 28 key monitored vegetables was 4.18 yuan/kg, an increase of 1.5% from yesterday; and the average price of 6 key monitored fruits was 7.68 yuan/kg, a decrease of 0.9% from yesterday. Crucian carp was priced at 20.10 yuan/kg, up 0.1% from yesterday; carp at 14.75 yuan/kg, down 1.3% from yesterday; silver carp at 10.48 yuan/kg, up 0.4% from yesterday; and large ribbonfish at 40.37 yuan/kg, down 0.5% from yesterday. Today, among the 46 key varieties of fresh agricultural products monitored in domestic wholesale markets, the top five products with the largest price increases compared to yesterday were onions, cucumbers, lettuce, watermelons, and zucchini, with increases of 4.3%, 4.1%, 4.0%, 3.3%, and 3.1% respectively; the top five products with the largest price decreases were Kyoho grapes, carp, pumpkins, silver carp, and pears, with decreases of 3.7%, 1.3%, 1.1%, 1.0%, and 0.9% respectively.
