The statement condemned the attack by the Sudan Rapid Support Force, stating that the armed group attacked several villages in the Mura region, looting property and killing local villagers. The statement pointed out that frequent attacks against civilians have forced many families to flee their homes, exacerbating the local humanitarian crisis.
