According to the National Energy Administration, by 2025, my country had built 42 intelligent computing clusters with a capacity of 10,000 kilowatts each, with total electricity consumption of computing centers nationwide reaching 170 billion kilowatt-hours, accounting for 1.6% of the total electricity consumption of the whole society. The electricity consumption of computing power at the eight major hub nodes of the national integrated computing power network has become the main driver of growth, with an average annual growth rate of approximately 39.5% over the past three years, far exceeding the average growth rate of total electricity consumption. It is estimated that during the 15th Five-Year Plan period, the annual increase in electricity consumption of computing power nationwide will exceed 100 billion kilowatt-hours, reaching 800 billion kilowatt-hours by 2030, accounting for about 6% of the total electricity consumption of the whole society.
