[Shenzhen Upgrades Yellow Rainstorm Warning to Orange] Over the past three hours, heavy rainfall has occurred in Dapeng Bay, Daya Bay, and the Dapeng and Nan'ao subdistricts of Dapeng New District. It is expected that these areas will receive an additional 30-40 mm of rainfall in the next two to three hours. The Shenzhen Meteorological Observatory officially issued an orange rainstorm warning for these areas at 07:35 on June 13, 2026. The entire city is currently in a state of rainstorm preparedness. Citizens are kindly reminded to avoid low-lying and flood-prone areas as much as possible. The areas where this warning has been issued have a high risk of flash floods, and special attention should be paid to preventing secondary disasters such as localized flooding, flash floods, landslides, and mudslides that may be triggered by the rainstorm.
