[SoftBank Group Expands Credit Line to $6.5 Billion to Boost AI Investment] ⑴ Sources familiar with the matter said that SoftBank Group has secured an additional $450 million, increasing its existing credit line to $6.5 billion. This funding will provide the Japanese conglomerate with greater financial flexibility to expand its investments in artificial intelligence. ⑵ Sources indicated that the previous $6.05 billion credit line was set to expire this month, and the expanded line will allow SoftBank to draw funds over the next year. ⑶ It is unclear whether SoftBank has already used or plans to use this new credit line. ⑷ Sources revealed that more than 20 banks are involved in the expanded credit project.
