[US Energy Secretary: High Probability of New Round of Strategic Petroleum Reserve Crude Oil Lending] ⑴ US Energy Secretary Chris Wright stated that with rising oil prices and deep futures discounts driving up crude oil demand, a new round of strategic petroleum reserve crude oil lending is highly likely. ⑵ The US Department of Energy has already lent out over 130 million barrels from the 172 million barrels release quota approved in March, leaving approximately 38.5 million barrels available for lending.
