[Trump Names New York Times and Washington Post as Potentially Banned from White House] On the afternoon of September 18th local time, US President Trump reiterated to the media at the White House his earlier announcement on social media platforms that he would ban three "fake news media outlets," including CNN, from entering the White House. In answering reporters' questions, Trump also named The New York Times and The Washington Post, calling them "fake news media" and suggesting they might also be added to the ban list.
