The U.S. Embassy in Riyadh, the capital of Saudi Arabia, stated that Houthi attacks on civilian airports and key public infrastructure in Saudi Arabia pose corresponding security risks. The ongoing conflict between the Houthi rebels in Yemen and Saudi Arabia has long had a direct impact on the regional security situation. These attacks on civilian facilities not only threaten the personal safety and property of ordinary citizens but also disrupt normal production, daily life, and transportation. The international community has consistently called on all parties involved to abide by relevant international law and norms, cease attacks on civilian targets, and resolve differences through dialogue and consultation.
