[Over 6,300 Foreign Companies Increase Investment in China, Accelerating Integration into the Chinese Industrial Ecosystem] The latest data from the Ministry of Commerce shows that from January to September this year, over 6,300 foreign-invested enterprises increased their investment in China. In the first three quarters of this year, foreign investment in my country's high-tech industries increased by 33.8% year-on-year, accounting for over 40% of the total, becoming the core driving force for my country's investment growth. Among them, investment in the digital economy industry increased by 7% year-on-year; investment in R&D and design services increased by 59.2% year-on-year; and investment in energy conservation, environmental protection, and clean energy industries increased by 11.1% year-on-year. Foreign investment is converging on new productivity-related sectors such as intelligent manufacturing, the digital economy, and green and low-carbon technologies, with a number of regional headquarters, smart factories, and R&D centers being established.
