The Organization of the Petroleum Exporting Countries (OPEC+) has reached a consensus in principle to maintain its December oil production target without adjustment, and there are no plans for further adjustments to production policy before 2025. The organization's online meeting is scheduled for Sunday. Due to export disruptions caused by the situation in Iran, there remains a significant gap between the actual production levels of Gulf oil-producing countries and their established targets. According to procedure, the organization needs to complete a comprehensive capacity assessment in the fourth quarter before finalizing the 2027 production baseline and subsequent production quota arrangements.
