[Bartles: Earnings Growth of the Tech Giants May Lag Behind the Rest of the S&P 500 for the First Time Since Q4 2022] (1) Market analyst John Bartles said that so far in the third quarter, five of the "Tech Giants" have seen their earnings per share (EPS) growth lag behind the rest of the S&P 500. (2) Nvidia and Apple have not yet released their latest quarterly results, but Bartles said that the combined EPS growth of the Tech Giants has fallen to 22.6% from 33.6% a month ago; in contrast, the combined EPS growth of the remaining 493 companies in the S&P 500 is 32.6%. (3) This means that the earnings growth of the Tech Giants is expected to fall behind the rest of the S&P 500 for the first time since Q4 2022; analysts expect this trend to continue in Q4 of this year.
