According to Vietnam News, Vietnam will lower its average retail electricity price by 2% for the first time, effective November 1st, to 2159.90 VND per kilowatt-hour (excluding VAT). This is the first price reduction in 20 years. The move aims to alleviate the energy cost burden on households and businesses and support economic growth.
