### Iran's Copper Exports to Turkey Reach Record High According to information released by Iranian officials on November 1st, Turkish customs statistics show that from January to September 2026, Turkey imported approximately 31,000 tons of copper cathodes from Iran, with a total import value of $427 million. Both import volume and value have reached record highs. In comparison, Turkey imported approximately 16,300 tons of copper cathodes from Iran in 2025, with a total import value of $163.7 million. Based on this, Turkey's copper cathode imports from Iran in the first nine months of 2026 have already reached nearly 1.9 times the total for the previous year, and the import value has reached approximately 2.6 times the total for the previous year. These figures represent increases of 90% and 161% respectively compared to the previous year, clearly demonstrating a significant expansion in Iran's copper cathode exports to Turkey. Copper cathodes are high-purity copper products produced through electrolytic refining processes. They are a core raw material in the manufacture of wires and cables, electrical equipment, and various industrial production sectors, with a wide range of applications.
