Brazil's state-owned oil company, Petrobras, announced that it will raise the average selling price of aviation kerosene supplied to distributors by 7.2%, effective November 1, 2026. This represents an increase of 0.45 reais per liter, or approximately US$0.083, compared to the previous month. The state-owned oil company explained that this price adjustment is mainly due to rising international aviation kerosene prices. Factors driving up international aviation kerosene prices include the continued escalation of geopolitical tensions in the Middle East and the decline in refining capacity in Russia and Ukraine due to the Russia-Ukraine conflict.
