[Draft Amendment to Renewable Energy Law Submitted for Deliberation] On November 2, the draft amendment to the Renewable Energy Law was submitted to the 25th session of the Standing Committee of the 14th National People's Congress for its first deliberation. The draft amendment consists of ten chapters and seventy-six articles. The main revisions include: clarifying the strengthening of Party leadership; improving the legislative purpose and relevant requirements; improving resource surveys and development planning; strengthening the management of renewable energy development, construction, production, and transmission; improving market trading and pricing mechanisms; strengthening the responsibility for energy consumption and promoting consumption; improving technological innovation and industrial development; strengthening safeguards and supervision; and improving legal liabilities.
