【The First CMG World Robot Climbing Mount Tai Competition Held: Nearly 90 Teams Challenge the 3.9km Track】 (1) On November 2, the first CMG World Robot Climbing Mount Tai Competition was held in Tai'an, Shandong Province, with the theme of "Climbing High and Competing for Wisdom on Mount Tai". The track is about 3.9 kilometers long with more than 3,100 steps. Nearly 90 teams challenged the Zhongtianmen of Mount Tai. (2) After fierce competition, the Beijing Lingyi Technology Team won the championship of the legged robot speed race with a total time of 43 minutes and 41 seconds. The robot on site was quite fast, and the operator had to jog to keep up. In the subsequent weight-bearing race, the robot carried two watermelons and two plates of eggs, a total of 26 kilograms of counterweight, to climb the mountain, simulating the scene of carrying loads on a mountain. (3) The competition included four official events: humanoid robot speed race, legged robot speed race, legged robot weight-bearing race, and exoskeleton robot assistance, as well as one all-area mobile exploration challenge.
