[Armenia's Central Bank Raises Interest Rates by 25 Basis Points to 7.0%, Highest Level Since January 2025] ⑴ The Central Bank of Armenia raised its policy rate by 25 basis points to 7.0% at its November 2026 meeting, citing persistent inflationary pressures and strong domestic demand. ⑵ This increase brings the benchmark interest rate to its highest level since January 2025. ⑶ The deposit rate was raised to 5.5%, and the lending rate to 8.5%.
