[Both Polish Airports Receive Bomb Threat Alerts: Checking Flights Arriving in Warsaw from London and Copenhagen] (1) Polish security is checking two planes arriving in Warsaw from London and Copenhagen respectively, after the Polish capital's airport received a potential bomb threat alert. Warsaw Modrin Airport was temporarily closed earlier on Tuesday. A plane that took off from London made an emergency landing at 10:01 am after receiving the alert. The airport's website stated that all 181 people on board were evacuated and the airport has now resumed operations. (2) Meanwhile, Warsaw Chopin Airport is checking a plane that arrived from Copenhagen. Onet.pl quoted an airport spokesperson as saying that security received information that there might be explosives on board, but the airport did not suspend operations as a result. (3) Poland has been the target of various cyberattacks and hybrid attacks, which Polish officials say are linked to Russia. Prime Minister Tusk warned that Russia, Poland's eastern neighbor, plans to intensify its attacks on NATO members in the coming months. Russia has previously denied any wrongdoing.
