In the week ending October 30, U.S. crude oil inventories fell by 5.267 million barrels, compared to market expectations of a 1.987 million barrel increase and a previous week's decrease of 2.031 million barrels. Meanwhile, U.S. gasoline inventories rose by 1.427 million barrels, far exceeding market expectations of 40,000 barrels, compared to a previous week's increase of 2.39 million barrels. Note: API crude oil inventory data is an indicator published by the American Petroleum Institute reflecting changes in U.S. crude oil inventories. Inventory changes often have a certain impact on international oil price trends. When inventory declines exceed expectations, it usually reflects strong crude oil demand, potentially supporting oil prices. Conversely, a larger-than-expected increase in gasoline inventories may reflect changes in the supply and demand dynamics of the gasoline market.
