[Vietnam Releases First Independently Designed Secure Semiconductor Platform and Security Chip VGC v1.0] (1) The Vietnam Government Cryptography Committee and the Military Electronics and Telecommunications Group (Viettel) jointly released the country's first independently designed secure semiconductor platform and its first security chip, VGC v1.0. (2) The chip has a package size of 10 mm × 10 mm, integrates approximately 300 million transistors, is manufactured using a 28-nanometer CMOS process, and directly integrates Vietnam's independently developed encryption algorithm into the chip hardware. (3) The chip is primarily targeted at the government and defense sectors.
