[Rabobank: Australian 2026-2027 Grain and Oilseed Production Expected to Exceed Expectations] (1) Rabobank stated that Australian grain and oilseed production for 2026-2027 is expected to exceed previous forecasts. (2) The bank expects annual crop production to reach 63 million metric tons, only 8% lower than last year's strong harvest; last year's barley and rapeseed production both reached record levels. (3) The bank noted that the prices of the January 2027 and 2028 contracts on the Australian Securities Exchange have recently fallen, but the decline has been less than that on the Chicago Board of Trade (CBOT). (4) The bank believes that the improving global food supply situation is putting downward pressure on prices.
