[OpenAI President: Enterprise Sales Contribute Most of Revenue, Company Expected to Be Ready for IPO in 2027] (1) OpenAI President Greg Brockman said on Wednesday that the company currently derives most of its revenue from enterprise sales, and he believes the company will be ready for an IPO in 2027. (2) Brockman said that OpenAI has been increasing its sales efforts to enterprise customers to counter the challenge from competitor Anthropic, which is likely to go public by the end of the year. OpenAI is also heavily promoting its Codex intelligent agent. (3) Brockman spoke at a technology conference in Napa, California. When asked if OpenAI was ready for an IPO next year, he replied, "I think so."
