[World's First Bionic Humanoid Robot News Anchor Officially Launched] On November 5th, at the 7th World Media Summit's Artificial Intelligence and Chinese-Style Modernization Forum, the world's first bionic humanoid robot news anchor was officially unveiled. This achievement marks the transition of the innovative communication model of "authoritative information + embodied intelligence" from theoretical conception to practical application, providing a new paradigm for news dissemination in the era of artificial intelligence. The newly launched robot news anchors, named "Xin Yan" and "Xin Yu," were jointly developed by Xinhua News Agency and UBTECH Robotics, with Chinese director Zhang Yimou serving as their lead designer, and were custom-designed for news scenarios. Both robot news anchors are 1:1 scale replicas of real people, relying on Xinhua News Agency's AI-powered political information intelligence system "Xinhua Dictionary," and UBTECH's fully independent technology across the entire chain, from bionic skin, embodied intelligent hardware, operating system, emotional model to mass production, enabling them to broadcast live on camera.
