In the first three quarters of this year, the number of patent transfer and licensing filings nationwide reached 496,000, a year-on-year increase of 7.1%. Among them, the number of filings by universities and research institutions increased by 20.3% year-on-year. my country's total import and export volume of intellectual property royalties reached 331.59 billion yuan, continuing to maintain stable growth. In the World Intellectual Property Organization's "Global Innovation Index 2026 Report," China ranked among the top ten globally for the second consecutive year, and its number of global top 100 innovation clusters has ranked first among all countries for four consecutive years.
