Indian auto dealer Body FADA reported a 23.8% year-on-year decline in total auto sales in October, with passenger vehicle sales down 14.2% and two-wheeler sales down 28.4%. Commercial vehicle sales, however, saw a 2.3% year-on-year increase. The purchasing trend driven by rural two-wheelers in October last year is expected to be reflected in the November print edition. The outlook for the November 2026 to January 2027 quarter is cautiously optimistic, but the tone remains relatively conservative.
