[COMEX Electrolytic Copper Inventories Increase by Over 450,000 Tons in Nearly a Year; Price Spread Reversal May Indicate a Shift] ⑴ Since March 2025, COMEX electrolytic copper inventories have been steadily accumulating from 83,876 tons. ⑵ As of February 11, 2026, total inventories reached 537,540 tons. ⑶ Visible inventories have increased by over 450,000 tons in the past year. ⑷ On February 12, 2026, the exchange's inventories saw their first decrease, falling by 1,225 tons to 535,715 tons. ⑸ COMEX registered warehouse capacity has been nearly saturated in the past year. ⑹ Currently, with the LME-COMEX price spread reversing, there is a trend of new inventories and some existing inventories shifting to the LME.
