[Hungary's Construction Output Increased by 8.9% in December 2025] ⑴ Hungary's construction output increased by 8.9% year-on-year in December 2025. ⑵ This figure reversed the previous month's downwardly revised 4.1% decline. ⑶ Civil engineering output increased by 10.5% year-on-year. ⑷ This figure represents a significant rebound from the 18.9% decline in November. ⑸ This was mainly driven by a 53.8% surge in road and railway construction output. ⑹ The growth rate of construction output slowed to 8.4% from 10.4% in November. ⑺ After seasonal adjustment, construction output increased by 6.7% month-on-month in December. ⑻ The previous month saw a 7.3% month-on-month decline. ⑼ Total construction output for the whole of 2025 increased by 2.8% compared to the previous year.
