[Slovakia's GDP Growth Accelerates to 1% in Q4 2025, Exceeding Expectations] ⑴ Preliminary estimates indicate that Slovakia's economy grew by 1% year-on-year in the fourth quarter of 2025. ⑵ The previous quarter's growth was 0.9%. ⑶ This growth rate exceeded market expectations of 0.8%, marking the strongest annual growth since the third quarter of 2024. ⑷ This was mainly supported by significant growth in investment activity, particularly government investment. ⑸ Net foreign trade also made a positive contribution. ⑹ After seasonal adjustment, the economy grew by 0.2% quarter-on-quarter in the fourth quarter. ⑺ This represents a slowdown compared to the 0.3% quarter-on-quarter growth in the third quarter.
