[German DAX Index Trades Cautiously on Friday, Siemens Leads Decline] ⑴ The Frankfurt DAX index traded below flat on Friday, around 24,830 points. ⑵ Global markets were cautious ahead of a key US inflation report, with continued concerns about high investment in artificial intelligence also weighing on the market. ⑶ Meanwhile, traders remained focused on the ongoing earnings season. ⑷ In terms of individual stocks, Siemens fell 3%, leading the index decline. ⑸ Bronde fell 2.7%, Symrise fell 1.7%, and Rheinmetall fell 1.6%. ⑹ On the upside, MTU Aero Engines and Rheinmetall rose 2.9% and 1.7% respectively, leading the gains. ⑺ The index is expected to record a weekly gain of 0.4% this week.
