[Central Government Allocates 1.25 Billion Yuan to Support Winter Wheat Growth] In accordance with the decisions and plans of the CPC Central Committee and the State Council, and to actively address the production situation of late sowing and weak seedlings in winter wheat, the Ministry of Finance, together with the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs, recently allocated 1.25 billion yuan of central government funds to support 11 major winter wheat producing provinces in carrying out related work such as promoting the growth of weak seedlings. The funds will focus on providing appropriate subsidies for disaster prevention and production stabilization measures such as additional application of fertilizer to improve seedling growth, and will strive to solidify the foundation for a stable and bumper summer grain harvest.
