[National Energy Administration Conducts Survey on Power Supply Guarantee for the 2026 Spring Festival and the National People's Congress and the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference (NPC & CPPCC)] On February 12, He Yang, member of the Party Leadership Group and Deputy Director of the National Energy Administration (NEA), led a team to Beijing for on-site research to supervise the power supply guarantee work for the 2026 Spring Festival and the NPC & CPPCC. The research team visited key power supply sites to understand the power supply security and guarantee work of relevant units. During the research, He Yang emphasized that all relevant units must take a "no room for error" approach and ensure that all aspects of power supply guarantee work for the Spring Festival and the NPC & CPPCC are implemented thoroughly and meticulously. During the Spring Festival, priority should be given to ensuring people's livelihood, and during the NPC & CPPCC, close attention should be paid to key event venues to ensure a safe and reliable power supply. Emergency duty should be strengthened, and strict precautions should be taken against natural disasters and timely handling of emergencies to ensure a stable and orderly national power safety production situation. Officials from the NEA's Electricity Safety Supervision Department, Electricity Department, North China Energy Regulatory Bureau, Beijing Municipal Commission of Urban Management, and State Grid Corporation of China participated in the research.
