[US Secretly Deports 9 to Cameroon Despite Court Protection Orders] The US government recently secretly deported nine foreign citizens to Cameroon, many of whom could have avoided deportation under US court protection orders. According to US government documents and the deportees' lawyers, the nine individuals, including both men and women, are not from Cameroon. Some of those deported were handcuffed and shackled by US Department of Homeland Security personnel in Alexandria, Louisiana, on January 14th and transported to Cameroon by plane without prior knowledge of the destination. The US State Department, Department of Homeland Security, and relevant Cameroonian government departments have not yet responded to this news. It is understood that the US government has never announced any agreement with Cameroon regarding Cameroon's acceptance of those deported from the US. (CCTV)
