[Swedish December Employment Data Revised, Unemployment Rate Better Than Expected] ⑴ Data released by Statistics Sweden on Monday showed that total employment in Sweden in December 2025 was revised to 5.252 million, up from the previous figure of 5.729 million. The seasonally adjusted unemployment rate was 8.8%, down from 9.0% previously, and better than the 8.9% expected by institutional surveys. ⑵ The unadjusted unemployment rate for December was 8.3%.
