Anthropic PBC is embedding its star AI programming agent, Claude Code, into prominent Indian companies, including Air India and an outsourcing giant, to accelerate the adoption of AI in India, the world’s most populous country. In a statement on February 16, Anthropic said Air India is using Claude Code to develop custom software, while Congonizant is deploying the agent to its 350,000 employees worldwide to modernize legacy systems.
