A group of investors led by Blackstone will invest up to $600 million in Indian AI company Neysa. In addition, a group of investors led by Blackstone plans to make an equity investment of up to $600 million in Neysa, an Indian artificial intelligence (AI) cloud startup. Neysa will also seek an additional $600 million in debt financing in addition to this equity round. The company intends to use these funds to deploy over 20,000 graphics processing units (GPUs) in India for AI training and high-performance applications. Ganesh Mani, senior managing director of Blackstone's private equity practice, stated in a press release that this investment will enable Neysa to play a significant role in driving the development of AI infrastructure in India and will also enable businesses and public institutions to deploy AI technology more effectively.
