[Multiple Departments Deploy Measures to Accelerate the Application of Artificial Intelligence in Bidding and Tendering] It was learned from the National Development and Reform Commission (NDRC) that recently, eight departments, including the NDRC, the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, and the Ministry of Housing and Urban-Rural Development, jointly issued an implementation opinion on accelerating the application of artificial intelligence in the bidding and tendering field. The opinion clarifies that by the end of 2026, key scenarios such as tender document inspection, intelligent assisted bid evaluation, and collusion detection will achieve full coverage in some provinces and cities; by the end of 2027, more key scenarios will be promoted and applied nationwide, forming a number of experiences and practices in model training, scenario application, and mechanism guarantees, effectively promoting the standardized and healthy development of the bidding and tendering market. A spokesperson for the NDRC stated that the opinion, by promoting the deep integration of bidding and tendering with artificial intelligence, improving the bidding and tendering paradigm, and enhancing the digitalization level of services and supervision, is of great significance for standardizing the order of the bidding and tendering market, optimizing the bidding and tendering market environment, and promoting the construction of a unified national market.
