Anthropic PBC has released a new artificial intelligence (AI) model called Claude Sonnet 4.6. This model can perform computer operations that require multiple steps, such as filling out web forms and coordinating information across multiple browser tabs. In a blog post, Anthropic stated that "while the model still lags behind the most skilled humans in operating computers, its rate of progress is astonishing." Furthermore, Anthropic claims that Sonnet 4.6 performs better against security threats such as prompt injection attacks, which involve manipulating AI models through malicious commands.
