The Gala reached 16.207 billion views on domestic new media platforms, a 49% increase year-on-year. The overseas reach of this year's CCTV Spring Festival Gala also significantly improved. Global Television Network (CGTN) reports on the Gala garnered 2.309 billion views and 843 million video views globally, representing increases of 32.85% and 43.61% respectively compared to last year.
