[Samyang Foods to Register English Trademark for "Buldak" Ramen] Samyang Foods, the South Korean company best known for its "Buldak" ramen, announced on Thursday that it plans to register an English trademark for its "Buldak" brand in response to a surge in counterfeit products overseas. The company stated that it will submit an application to the South Korean Ministry of Intellectual Property later this month to obtain trademark rights for the English name "Buldak."
