[Chinese Scientists Develop Safe, Freeze-Resistant, and Heat-Resistant New Battery] A team led by Professor Xu Yunhua of Tianjin University, in collaboration with Professor Huang Fei's team at South China University of Technology and other institutions, has successfully developed a new type of organic cathode material, overcoming the bottlenecks of traditional organic lithium batteries such as "low capacity" and "difficulty in practical application." The relevant research results were published online in the international academic journal *Nature* on February 19th (Beijing time). Professor Xu stated that these findings lay a key material foundation for the future development of "green batteries," and their flexible properties provide a new energy storage solution for future flexible electronics, wearable devices, and other fields. It is understood that the team is accelerating the transformation and industrialization of this technology, committed to building an organic soft-pack battery production line, and actively exploring its commercial application prospects.
