International oil prices rose on the 19th. By the close of trading that day, the price of light sweet crude oil futures for March delivery on the New York Mercantile Exchange rose by $1.24 to settle at $66.43 per barrel, an increase of 1.9%; the price of Brent crude oil futures for April delivery on the London ICE Futures Exchange rose by $1.31 to settle at $71.66 per barrel, an increase of 1.86%.
