[US Treasuries Fall Further After Supreme Court Overturns Trump's Tariff Policy] US Treasuries fell further after the Supreme Court ruled that Trump's global tariff policies were invalid. Following the ruling, yields rose across the board, with the benchmark 10-year Treasury yield climbing to 4.10%. The court clearly ruled that the government exceeded its authorized powers in imposing reciprocal tariffs on trading partners. "The market's instinctive reaction to this Supreme Court ruling was a weaker dollar and pressure on maturing bonds," noted Bipan Rai of BMO Asset Management. "We believe that from a long-term perspective, this will not trigger drastic changes, as the White House will likely take other measures to compensate for the revenue losses."
