[Commodity Markets Focus on Next Steps for Tariffs] Following the Supreme Court's ruling that some of President Trump's tariffs were illegal, commodity analysts and investors are uncertain about the next steps in global trade. Commodity futures generally reacted mutedly after the ruling. This unprecedented situation has left traders nervous. "We've never seen anything like this before," said Karl Setzer of Consus Ag Consulting. "We're not even sure if this means tariffs already imposed have to be refunded, or even which tariffs will be removed." The dollar index fell 0.3%, precious metals rose, crude oil fell, and agricultural futures were mixed.
