[Thai airports to raise departure service fees from June 20] Airports of Thailand (AOT) announced plans to increase the international departure service fee at all six of its airports from 730 baht to 1,120 baht per person, effective June 20. The new rate applies only to international departures, while the domestic passenger service fee will remain unchanged at 130 baht per person. These six airports include Bangkok's Suvarnabhumi Airport, Don Mueang Airport, Phuket Airport, Chiang Mai Airport, Hat Yai Airport, and Chiang Rai Airport, handling an average of 35 million international passengers annually.
